Nadda Calls for Unified Action on Student Issues, Dismisses Rahul Gandhi’s Claims

Union Minister JP Nadda used the BJP headquarters press conference to underline the government's commitment to solving student‑related problems, while sharply rebuking Rahul Gandhi for what he described as "selective outrage" over recent paper leaks.

Nadda recounted that on the evening of July 22, Rahul Gandhi delivered a presentation citing roughly 150 instances of question‑paper breaches, yet failed to mention similar violations in Congress‑run states such as Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Telangana. "Your silence on those cases reveals a lack of real concern for students," Nadda asserted.

The minister warned that the government would not allow educational concerns to become tools for political mileage. He announced that a comprehensive student‑welfare policy is being drafted, which will include stronger examination security, transparent grievance redressal mechanisms, and increased funding for digital infrastructure in schools.

Nadda also reiterated that the Parliament is prepared to allocate extensive hours to debate the paper‑leak issue, emphasizing that the opposition may decide the duration of the discussion. He urged all parties to move beyond partisan narratives and work together for the future of the nation's youth.

Closing his address, Nadda called on Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders to raise every case of malpractice, irrespective of who governs the state, and to join the government in forming a unified front against any attempts to compromise the integrity of India's education system.
