State Launches ‘My Dream Uttarakhand’ Campaign, Over 2.6 Lakh Students Contribute

The ‘My Dream Uttarakhand’ initiative, launched on August 10, invites high‑school students to share their visions for the state’s future. Since its inception, more than 2,67,744 youngsters have written essays, ideas, and suggestions covering education, tourism, environment, and infrastructure.

From this massive pool, 140 exemplary contributors were selected to join a live dialogue with the chief minister. Their ideas were lauded for showcasing a mature understanding of the challenges facing Uttarakhand.

The government plans to continue this dialogue, ensuring that student suggestions are reviewed and incorporated into upcoming policy drafts, thereby giving the younger generation a direct channel to influence state planning.
