Ritu Pathak’s musical odyssey began in the modest lanes of Gopalganj, Seoni, where her father’s small music band set the rhythm for her childhood. Surrounded by melodies, she learned the basics of pitch, rhythm, and performance on stage from a very early age.

Seeking structured learning, she traveled to Nagpur to study both classical and Hindustani vocal traditions. Her father’s unwavering belief in her talent led him to register her for local singing contests, allowing her voice to be heard beyond the village.
