Murder in Ismailpur Village: Son Uses Stick to Kill Elderly Father
In the early hours of Tuesday night, Ismailpur village of Bihar’s Camur district became the scene of a brutal homicide. Sonu Bind, the son of 60‑year‑old villager Chulhan Bind, allegedly struck his father repeatedly with a cane after a brief argument about a goat that had been tethered in the hallway. The father’s request to relocate the animal ignited a heated exchange that quickly turned violent. Emergency services transported the injured senior to Chanpur Community Health Centre, and subsequently to Sadar Hospital for a post‑mortem. Despite medical efforts, Chulhan Bind passed away en route to Varanasi for specialized care. The police recovered the body, documented the incident, and arrested the accused son on the same day. Charges have been filed, and the investigation continues, leaving the village in shock and the family bereaved.
