Municipal official caught taking four‑lakh bribe in GHMC office

The Telangana Anti‑Corruption Bureau announced the capture of a municipal planning supervisor who accepted a four‑lakh‑rupee bribe to ignore city orders. The arrest took place inside the GHMC office in the Golconda zone when the official demanded cash from a complainant wanting the halt on his construction lifted. Officers also recovered an additional two lakh fifty thousand rupees. The accused is now under judicial remand before a special judge handling ACB cases in Nampally.
