Land for MSMEs in Every District Within Two Months

Madhya Pradesh is set to make land available for small and medium enterprises in every district within the next two months, according to an announcement by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. The decision is part of a broader plan to speed up industrial development and investment across the state.

Yadav made the announcement on Sunday at a function in Bhopal organised on the occasion of the state's 71st Foundation Day. Addressing entrepreneurs, he said the government is determined to remove hurdles faced by MSMEs, particularly in securing industrial infrastructure.

As part of the plan, a new state-owned company called the MSME Industrial Development Company (MSME-IDC) will be formed. The company will be responsible for providing essential industrial infrastructure, including land, in all sectors. It will be fully owned by the Madhya Pradesh government and will be dedicated to the growth of the MSME segment.

The Chief Minister also opened the door for private investors to develop industrial parks. To make such projects attractive, the state will provide a grant of Rs 50 lakh per hectare.

Yadav held an extensive discussion with young entrepreneurs on their investment strategies, long-term plans and growth prospects. He told them the state would stand by them and provide all possible help to support their innovations and investments.

He emphasized that economic growth must be positive, strong and inclusive so that every segment of society can participate in development. According to him, the true meaning of the state's prosperity lies in such inclusive progress.

Yadav also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ensuring uninterrupted petroleum supply despite global crises. He said India's energy capacity is growing swiftly under Modi's leadership and the nation is moving firmly toward self-reliance.

Detailing the state's progress, the Chief Minister said 13 new industrial areas spread over 220 hectares were developed in 2025-26. He added that thousands of beneficiaries have received loans under the Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana.

State MSME Minister Chetan Kashyap said Madhya Pradesh has become the first choice of investors because of the Chief Minister's efforts to highlight the state's unique advantages at various investor summits. He said 1,250 plots were allotted to entrepreneurs last year and the target for the current financial year is 3,000.
