Mrityunjay Tiwari Leaves RJD After Feeling Ignored by Party Leadership
Patna, July 16 – Long‑time Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari announced his resignation from all party posts, alleging that he has been denied due respect for his years of commitment.
In a video delivered at the party’s regional office, Tiwari said he had personally briefed state president Mahavir Lal Mandal and other senior members about his dissatisfaction. He also recounted a recent meeting where he voiced his grievances before opposition figure Tejashwi Yadav, but his concerns were dismissed.
Tiwari reminded the audience of his appointment as the party’s national media head in 2014 by Lalu Prasad Yadav, a testament to his loyalty. He argued that persistent neglect erodes any political worker’s morale, leading him to step away from every role he once occupied within the RJD.
