On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi hosted the resounding ‘Bharati – Nari se Narayani’ national conclave for two days straight. BJP parliamentarians such as Sandhya Verma, Anandmurti Guruma, Sumitra Balmiki, Kavita Patidar, and Maya Naroliya joined spiritual luminaries including Yogini Mukti Nath, Swami Maitri Giri, Sadhvi Anadi Saraswati, Sadhvi Sunita Shastri, and Mridula Pradhan, wife of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Discussions centered on empowering women and addressing West Bengal’s challenges. Mridula Pradhan, speaking to IANS, wished everyone on the global celebration and lauded the platform. ‘Hosted by the Indian Scholars’ Council, this brings together societal leaders,’ she remarked. ‘We need ongoing programs to boost women’s confidence and integrate them into mainstream roles. Modern women possess strength; self-belief will propel them forward.’
Swami Maitri Giri described the summit as a profound maternal congregation, beautifully blending introspection. ‘Women must showcase their power today, just as they have in scriptural tales of crisis,’ he said.
Sadhvi Anadi Saraswati celebrated the grand showcase of women’s roles in India’s cultural fabric. ‘From ascetics to homemakers, women embody the nation’s ethos,’ she observed.
Echoing ancient wisdom, Sadhvi Sunita Shastri pointed to maternal energy’s core strength in shaping children’s morals. ‘But why is this transmission fading? It’s time for introspection,’ she challenged.
This event marked a milestone in fostering dialogue on gender dynamics, inspiring actionable steps for women’s advancement across spheres.
