MP Semiconductor Summit 2026 Opens in Indore Friday

Madhya Pradesh is preparing to showcase its semiconductor ambitions at a major two-day summit in Indore. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will formally open the Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Summit-2026 on Friday and lay out his vision for turning the state into a semiconductor hub.

The summit will be held at the Brilliant Convention Centre. In addition to the inaugural speech, the Chief Minister will meet investors and semiconductor company representatives individually. These meetings will explore investment opportunities and technical collaboration within the state.

The Chief Minister will also visit an exhibition displaying the products, technologies and solutions developed by semiconductor companies. Over 50 companies will exhibit their strengths across chip design, packaging and testing, equipment, materials, electronics manufacturing and emerging technologies.

The gathering will bring together domestic and international semiconductor firms, investors, industry experts, academicians and startups. The programme features eight panel discussions, five roundtable meetings and four main speeches.

The first day's discussions will centre on making Madhya Pradesh a hub for advanced packaging and testing, building a fabless ecosystem, and reinforcing semiconductor manufacturing and supply chains.

Roundtable meetings will cover artificial intelligence infrastructure, fabless product development and intellectual property. Partnerships between industry, educational institutions and research organisations will also be discussed.

The second day will focus on chip technology, artificial intelligence, electronics manufacturing, design services, research and development, and skill development. Sessions on photonics, quantum technology and micro, small and medium enterprises are also on the agenda.

The closing function will honour the winners of the Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Startup Competition.

The state cabinet has approved the Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Policy-2025 to promote investment and the establishment of semiconductor industries and related technology activities. The summit aims to attract investment, foster innovation and develop a skilled workforce to support the sector's development in the state.
