MP Foundation Day: 102 Students Win Shri Krishna Merit Scholarship

Bhopal, October 26: Marking Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will honour 102 meritorious students from across the state with the 'Bhagwan Shri Krishna Meritorious Scholarship'.

Each student chosen under the scheme will receive Rs 1 lakh as scholarship money, along with a certificate.

Chief Minister Yadav said the scholarship is designed to link the new generation with the life vision and character of Lord Shri Krishna. It also seeks to strengthen their connection with India's intellectual traditions, culture, education and core values that shape life.

Congratulating the 102 gifted students, he remarked that their talent, dedication to hard work and devotion to learning would play a key role in shaping a developed India.

He voiced confidence that, guided by the ideals of Lord Shri Krishna, the students would scale new heights in their careers and bring glory to Madhya Pradesh.

The selection, in both school and college/university categories, was carried out by the Shri Krishna Pathey Nyas through a lottery system.

District-wise breakdown

Khandwa had the largest number of winners, with six students. Ashoknagar, Barwani, Narmadapuram, Seoni, Singrauli and Umaria each had four selected students. Burhanpur, Chhatarpur, Guna, Jhabua, Katni, Mauganj, Sagar, Satna, Sheopur and Ujjain each had three winners.
