Monsoon Activity Continues in Delhi NCR Through Early August
The monsoon season remains active across the Delhi‑NCR belt from July 30 through the first week of August. After the yellow alert on Thursday, the department expects a series of light showers and persistent cloud cover for the next few days. Forecasts for August 1 show a high of 34°C, a low of 26°C and humidity between 65% and 85%. No formal warning has been issued for that day, but the weather will stay damp.
On August 2 and 3, temperatures are projected to hover around 33°C during the day and dip to the mid‑20s at night. Light rain and overcast conditions will continue, with humidity staying above 75% on August 2 and gradually easing to the low 70s by August 3. The pattern repeats on August 4, with a maximum of 33°C, a minimum of 23°C and a likelihood of light rain throughout the day.
