Modi‑Yogi Government Praised as SP Plots for Corruption

During a press briefing on October 17, Minority Welfare Minister Danish Azad Ansari lauded the partnership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, calling it a “double‑engine” that has fast‑tracked Uttar Pradesh’s progress.

He alleged that the Samajwadi Party, driven by desperation, is attempting to divert the state toward corruption, anarchy and decay. The minister pointed to the defence minister’s recent press conference, which, according to Ansari, laid bare the SP’s true objectives.

Ansari contrasted the current administration’s record—such as the ‘one district, one medical college’ initiative—with the SP’s alleged “one district, one mafia” approach during Akhilesh Yadav’s tenure. He asserted that the SP’s past record of “mafia rule” and “goonda rule” has been erased by the Yogi government’s reforms.

The minister warned that the 2027 electoral verdict will reaffirm the BJP’s sweeping mandate, allowing the development agenda to continue unhindered by opposition sabotage.
