PM Modi to unveil new expressway, medical colleges and cultural museum in Haryana and Chandigarh
During his July 17 journey, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate key infrastructure projects that span highways, health institutions and cultural landmarks. In Haryana, he will lay the foundation for a 157.92‑km, four‑lane Delhi‑Amritsar‑Katra Expressway (Packages 1‑5) worth about ₹9,680 crore, cutting travel time between Delhi and Amritsar by half. The same day, he will open the National Highway‑7 and NH‑344 four‑lane Ambala‑Kala Amb corridor, enhancing road links between Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
In Chandigarh, Modi will inaugurate an Advanced Mother & Child Centre and an Advanced Neurosciences Centre at the Post‑Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, each equipped with state‑of‑the‑art facilities. He will also lay the foundation stone for a Sikh heritage museum in Kurukshetra, aimed at showcasing Sikh history through modern technology.
