Mithilesh Singh Allegedly Amassed Over ₹300 Crore in Anonymous Assets

Probes into the exam scam have revealed that Mithilesh Singh used the illicit proceeds to acquire more than ₹300 crore worth of unregistered properties across India. Records obtained by CIDI point to unnamed land parcels, luxury apartments, hotels, and commercial spaces registered in Singh’s name in Delhi, Patna, Ranchi, Mumbai, Pune, Rajasthan and Haryana.

Investigators say the wealth was amassed through black money generated from question‑paper leaks and the systematic exploitation of aspirants. The properties are held under shell companies, making it difficult to trace the true ownership.

The CIDI forensic team is working with state land registries to freeze and possibly confiscate the assets pending legal action.
