Nirmal Jain, newly appointed chair of the Delhi Minority Commission, expressed gratitude for the confidence shown by senior political leaders. He described the appointment as a testament to the faith the party hierarchy and the Delhi administration have in his capabilities.

Jain promised to work with unwavering dedication to safeguard the rights of all minority groups and to ensure that the myriad welfare schemes launched by the government are effectively implemented at the local level.

He thanked Chief Minister Rekha Gupta for her encouragement and affirmed that the commission will align its actions with the government’s overarching goal of meeting public expectations. Alongside commission members Sardar Kuldeep Singh and Mohammad Haroon, Jain intends to monitor the distribution of central and state benefits, guaranteeing that no eligible community is left out.
