Minister Rejects Calls for Violence, Upholds Rule of Law

When confronted with statements by legislator Pappu Yadav, who promised a cash reward for severing the hands of trouble‑makers, Minister Suman dismissed the comments as irresponsible. He questioned the source of Yadav’s alleged wealth and reiterated that no parallel government can operate in Bihar.

Suman reminded that Indian law enumerates punishments for all criminal conduct, and any suggestion of literal bodily harm is both illegal and immoral. He emphasized that governance must remain rooted in constitutional provisions and the rule of law.
