Minister Ranbir Gangwal Inaugurates New Stops at Hansi, Boosting Regional Connectivity

Hansi, Haryana – The Haryana cabinet minister, Ranbir Gangwal, officially inaugurated the stoppage of two express trains at Hansi railway station on September 15. The Agra‑Firozpur Express and the Bikaner‑Haridwar Express will now halt at the station, providing direct rail access for commuters from Hansi and nearby villages.

During the ceremony, Minister Gangwal highlighted the positive impact of the new halts on daily travelers, stressing that the decision fulfills a long‑standing local demand. He also praised MLA Vinod Bhayana for his persistent advocacy, which led to a meeting with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and secured the necessary approvals.

The minister addressed recent political commentary, urging public figures to choose their words carefully to avoid misinterpretation. He also referenced ongoing student union elections, noting the participation of various political factions.

The station is currently undergoing an Rs 18 crore refurbishment to upgrade platforms, waiting rooms and ticketing facilities. Officials predict that the improved infrastructure, coupled with the added train stops, will accelerate development in the newly formed Hansi district.

In addition, Minister Gangwal outlined the upcoming Service Commitment Campaign, set to run from September 17 to October 17, marking 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public life. The campaign will feature community service activities aimed at reinforcing the nation’s progress toward its 2047 development goals.
