Massive Jaat Yatra Sets Off From Kurur

The massive Jaat Yatra devoted to Mother Nanda Devi finally started from Kurur on Saturday. Organized by the temple authorities of the Siddhpeeth in Chamoli, the trek will cover 296 kilometres on foot, passing through five uninhabited and twenty‑one inhabited stations, and is slated to reach Kailash‑Homkund on September 20.
