Mass Seizure of Electronic Devices in Noida Fraud Call Centre Raid
In a coordinated operation on 16 July, Noida police seized a large cache of electronic equipment from a fake call centre that was defrauding traders across India. The raid yielded 39 smartphones, 9 keypad mobiles, 10 laptops, 36 CPUs and 32 SIM cards, along with numerous forged documents and tax invoices.
The investigation uncovered a systematic scheme where victims were persuaded to pay for non‑existent marketing services, buyer leads and certificates. The three accused—company director Ranbir Singh, his associate Lalit Kumar and wife Jyoti—have been taken into custody.
Forensic experts are currently analyzing the confiscated devices to trace communication logs, financial transactions and the broader network of accomplices. Police officials assure that the crackdown on cyber fraud and counterfeit call centres will continue with vigor.
