In a fiery address, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha exposed the opposition CPI-M’s power obsession, revealing their secret wishes for BJP discord to resurrect the Left Front government.
At the vibrant ‘Yuva Shankhnad’ event in Dharmanagar, Saha painted a picture of a thriving Tripura. ‘Our small state punches above its weight, securing 347 awards at the national level and leading in ease of doing business,’ he boasted. The opposition, he charged, ignores these milestones, fixated instead on ousting the BJP.
Saha detailed the BJP’s ethos: transparent administration and non-stop service to citizens. ‘We start at 6 AM and go till midnight, reaching people through deeds. They sit back, waiting for our internal fights,’ he quipped.
Remembering former Speaker Biswa Bandhu Sen, who passed away last December, Saha called his loss profound. A Dharmanagar MLA and cultural enthusiast in Jatra theater, Sen envisioned comprehensive growth for the area. ‘United, we’ll complete his unfinished tasks,’ the CM promised.
Peace, credited to PM Modi’s efforts, marks Tripura’s renaissance. ‘No more security convoys needed for Agartala trips; peace blankets the Northeast,’ Saha said. He lambasted the CPI-M for allying with past foes linked to crimes, driven solely by lust for office.
National acclaim followed, with PM Modi spotlighting Tripura’s top rankings in a Delhi conclave, advising bigger states to learn from it. Saha’s message was clear: While rivals scheme, BJP builds a progressive Tripura.
