Major Roads Closed and Traffic Diversions Issued for BRICS Leaders

A series of important thoroughfares in Delhi will be partially or fully closed during the summit days. Roads affected include Sardar Patel Marg, Mother Teresa Crescent, Teen Murti Marg, Akbar Road, and many others such as Rajesh Pilot Marg, Mathura Road, and Shanti Path.

Additional corridors like Janpath, Ashok Road, Barakhamba Road, and the Rangaswami Gandhi Flyover will see traffic redirected. The Delhi Traffic Police has advised commuters to plan trips ahead, use public transport—especially the Metro—and respect the diversion signs posted by traffic personnel.

Emergency services and essential‑service vehicles will be given priority clearance throughout the security operation.
