Elections were to be held on 7 March (Friday) in Asia’s largest paper factory ‘Nepa Mill’. But the former labor union was opposing it. There was a lot of uproar before voting, stunning the election process. In a mutual fight between two groups, people picked up the polling boxes and threw it out. After mutual conflict between the candidates, a group of laborers reached the Nepanagar police station, while the other faction went to the guest house with election officials. There was a lot of uproar in the labor union elections for a long time. After this, the candidates of both the panels asked to conduct elections on March 24 with mutual consent.

Let us tell you that the labor union election process started from March 5. On March 6, nomination forms were submitted from 10 am to 12 noon. Voting was to be held from 10 am to 1 pm on Friday 7 March.
