Ludhiana Police Review Completed by DGP Gaurav Yadav Before August 15

The day before the Independence Day holiday, Punjab’s DGP Gaurav Yadav visited Ludhiana to oversee a final security review with the district commissioner’s police and the Ludhiana range officers. The meeting reviewed the policing blueprint that emphasizes strong police presence, effective troop deployment, and protection of event venues and crowd‑dense locations.

Yadav’s statements on X highlighted the necessity for an active, people‑centric policing approach that can adapt to any scenario. He urged police personnel to stay prepared, maintain situational awareness, and act with decisive authority when required.
