Ludhiana’s CSIR‑CMERI to Conduct Walk‑In Recruitment on 2 September for Multiple Technical Posts

The CSIR‑CMERI Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute’s Agricultural Machinery Excellence Centre, situated in Ludhiana’s Gill Road, has announced a walk‑in recruitment drive on 2 September. The institute seeks to fill eight contract posts: one Senior Project Associate, two Project Associate‑II, two Project Associate‑I and two Project Assistant‑II positions.

Applicants will be evaluated based on a face‑to‑face interview and verification of documents. Salary will be commensurate with the designation, ranging between INR 20,000 and INR 42,000 per month, with additional allowances. Eligibility requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or Information Technology and a minimum of two to three years of research‑oriented work experience. A three‑year diploma in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering also meets the criteria. The age ceiling is set at 35‑40 years, calculated on the interview day, and is relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
