Lucknow Set for BJP Strategy Session Led by Amit Shah

Lucknow is set to host a major political gathering on Friday as Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah chairs the Uttar Pradesh BJP state executive meeting. The session is aimed at reviewing the party's organisational efforts and setting priorities for the coming months.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is intensifying its organisational drive as it gears up for the 2027 Assembly elections. The meeting will focus on reinforcing the party's grassroots network and ensuring stronger coordination among leaders and workers throughout the state.

The programme was publicised on Thursday through the official X handle of the Union Home Minister's office. The statement read that Amit Shah would hold a meeting of the UP BJP state executive in Lucknow the next day.

CM Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy Chief Ministers, senior state leaders and state executive members are expected to be present. The discussions will likely centre on organisational preparations, electoral planning and strategies for the 2027 polls.

The party is anticipated to assess its organisational setup and deliberate on how to strengthen its base at the ground level before the elections. The meeting is considered crucial as the BJP looks to quicken its organisational activities in Uttar Pradesh and secure better alignment between state leadership and field workers.

Shah could also meet booth-level workers from different areas to evaluate organisational work and review preparations.

Before the meeting, BJP MP Priyanka Singh Rawat welcomed the initiative and said party members would benefit from Home Minister Amit Shah's guidance. She stated that the leadership would give direction on organising future programmes and reinforcing the party's organisational units. Rawat added that booths, mandals and shakti kendras would be strengthened based on these directions.
