Lodhi Road Blaze Results in Fatalities of a Family of Three

A severe fire erupted at a house on Lodhi Road, South Delhi, on Tuesday morning, killing a mother and her two children. The Delhi Fire Service logged the incident at 10:21 a.m. and sent a water tender, a water bouncer and a large fire tender to the location. At 10:50 a.m., the control room received confirmation that the bodies of three family members had been located on the third floor. The fire quickly spread throughout the property, creating dense smoke that caused chaos in the surrounding area. After breaking a locked door, firefighters entered the building and discovered the victims in critical condition; they had already succumbed to the flames. The blaze was contained by 11:10 a.m., with cooling operations continuing.
