LG Prioritises Fast-Track Solutions for Joint Security Cases

The Lieutenant Governor, acting as Deputy Chief Minister, directed senior officials from Delhi Police, DDA, the fire service and the MCD to focus on fast‑track delivery for security matters that need inter‑agency cooperation.

During the meeting, Sandhu laid out a schedule for handling essential public safety and administrative tasks, urging all bodies to work in sync rather than in isolation. He cited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of "Ease of Doing Business" and "Ease of Living" as the guiding principle for a more developed Delhi that puts people first.

The directives follow a previous assessment of deregulation steps that aim to cut red tape, reduce paperwork and bring tangible ease to citizens' daily lives.
