Yogi praised the former prime minister’s role in expanding India’s strategic and economic capabilities. The Pokhran nuclear test demonstrated India’s newfound strategic strength, while ambitious infrastructure projects such as the Golden Quadrilateral accelerated the country’s development.

The CM concluded that Vajpayee’s character, achievements and dedication to the nation continue to inspire citizens. He urged that embracing Vajpayee’s ideals—placing public service above power—remains the truest homage to his memory.
