Law‑And‑Order Promises Amidst TMC Bank Probe and Crime Cases

Minister Dilep Ghosh reaffirmed the state’s priority to enforce strict law and order following a series of shocking crimes, including the rape and murder of a 12‑year‑old girl and a brutal killing of a suspect. He warned that no individual or group will be allowed to take the law into their own hands.

Ghosh said that even isolated incidents such as “one‑two‑three” crimes will be dealt with firmly, and that the government will not grant any leniency to perpetrators, irrespective of their political connections.
