Law and order improvements praised by Yogi at development ceremony

The chief minister also spoke about the transformation in law and order that has taken place under his watch. He recalled earlier years when festival authorities had to intervene repeatedly to secure puja pandals, idol immersion sites and Ram Navami processions in towns such as Mehendawal, Bakhira and Khalilabad.

Yogi said that today he can monitor the safety of religious events remotely from Lucknow, noting that no one now fears attacks or disruptions. Strengthened policing and quicker administrative response, he added, have restored public confidence in the security of cultural and religious gatherings.
