Large Cash Seized from Accused Lacks Clear Source, Investigators Probe

During the preliminary phase of the enquiry, police seized a total of 48.14 lakh rupees in cash from the three suspects—14.25 lakh from Lavkush Mishra, 16.82 lakh from Anukalp Mishra and 18.07 lakh from Karunesh Pandey. The investigation now focuses on tracing the origin of these funds, determining whether they stem from the alleged theft of temple offerings, and establishing any links to other suspicious financial activities.
