Bandi Pora district administration has released a weather warning after the water level of the Kishanganga River rose sharply. The surge, combined with saturated terrain, heightens the danger of landslides and mudslides across the district. Authorities have asked tourists and tent‑site owners to vacate riverbanks immediately as a precaution. Recent cloudburst events in Tulek Valley’s Zedgai village and Guraz’s Achura village have already caused damage to homes and farmland, underscoring the urgency of the advisory.
