Landslide in Sikkim Claims Four Lives, Leaves Three Missing

A devastating landslide struck the Upper Rimbi area in West Sikkim's Yangthang Constituency at midnight, resulting in four fatalities and three individuals missing. The initial impact claimed the lives of three people instantly. A joint effort involving a police team, local villagers, and SSB personnel led to the evacuation of two injured women from the affected region. Despite the swift evacuation and immediate medical attention at the District Hospital, one of the women succumbed to her injuries. The other remains in critical condition. Authorities are still searching for the three missing persons.
