The political temperature in Bihar rose as Sudhakar Singh denounced the charges against Lalu Prasad Yadav in the ‘Land for Job’ controversy. A Delhi court recently allowed the ED to proceed against Yadav for allegedly trading railway jobs for land parcels between 2004 and 2009. Singh accused the government of selective targeting, questioning why investigations into BJP leaders’ scandals are often stalled. He viewed the move as a desperate bid to weaken the RJD-led alliance before the polls.
