Kumarswami Blames State for Putting Controversial BDA Official in KPSC

HD Kumarswami asserted that the Karnataka administration has compromised the integrity of the public service commission by placing a person with a history of allegations at its helm. He cited previous accusations that the appointed BDA official had sold posts amounting to crores of rupees.

“The government claimed it would overhaul the system, yet it installed someone already under scrutiny,” Kumarswami said. "With 75,000 government vacancies under discussion, will these hires also be tainted by irregularities?"

He further demanded that Rahul Gandhi visit Bengaluru, sit with youth groups, and scrutinize the recruitment mechanisms that have left thousands of candidates in limbo.
