Kumaraswamy Calls for Abolition of KCPSC and KAT Amid Allegations of Nepotism

The Union minister alleged that the KCPSC has been weaponised for political ends over several years. According to Kumaraswamy, the body that once enjoyed a reputation for merit now faces accusations of caste‑based and money‑driven appointments. He declared that, should his party assume power, steps would be taken to dismantle the KCPSC and the Karnataka Administrative Tribunal (KAT) through constitutional means, ending what he described as a “spoiled” institution.
