KT Ramarao calls for grassroots mobilization against alleged corruption and governance failures

Executive Chairman K.T. Ramarao of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) appealed to party cadres on Sunday to extend the upcoming week‑long campaign to every corner of Telangana. He accused the Congress government of widespread corruption, administrative negligence and a series of broken promises that have left the public disillusioned.

Ramarao listed specific grievances, including the non‑payment of promised monthly financial assistance to agricultural workers, senior citizens, women, students and youth. He also highlighted that the government has yet to release more than ₹12,000 crore in fee reimbursements owed to colleges and students across the state.

The BRS will launch a "Remaining Card" drive to disseminate information about pending financial aid, delayed scheme payouts and other unfulfilled commitments. The party intends to hold separate sessions for auto‑rickshaw drivers, women, farmers, tribal groups, Dalits, backward classes, government employees and retirees, tailoring each event to address the unique challenges faced by those communities.

In addition to on‑the‑ground rallies, Ramarao announced a coordinated social‑media push aimed at young voters. The digital campaign will feature short videos, infographics and testimonials that illustrate the alleged shortcomings of the Congress administration, seeking to galvanize public demand for accountability and change.
