Knife‑Related Killing in Nand Nagri Linked to Property Dispute, Suspects Confess

A homicide that shocked the Nand Nagri area has been traced back to a simmering property dispute, according to Delhi police. The murder, carried out with a knife, resulted in the death of a 28‑year‑old man from Sundar Nagri. The suspects, identified as 71‑year‑old Nasiruddin and his 26‑year‑old son Javaid, confessed to the crime during police questioning.

The friction began over ownership of a cloth shop situated in Murga Market, a conflict that had been ongoing between the victim's father, Jumma Din, and Nasiruddin. On the night of the incident, an argument over a gate escalated, leading Nasiruddin to restrain the victim while his son delivered multiple stab wounds. The pair fled but were soon apprehended thanks to an intensive investigative drive that included forensic analysis and tip‑offs from local residents.

Both men have no prior criminal history, and the recovered knife matches the wounds described by medical personnel. The investigation remains active as authorities examine additional evidence and motives surrounding the property feud.
