Kerala State Planning Board Recruitment Under Scrutiny after Scoring Error
KPSC has announced an internal vigilance investigation into the grading lapse. The commission said it will re‑evaluate every unanswered descriptive response before finalising a revised rank list.
Several aspirants have already approached the Kerala Administrative Tribunal, and the commission indicated that any further action for candidates who have already received appointment advice will depend on the tribunal's verdict.
The current PSC board consists of fifteen members, all appointed during the previous Pinarayi Vijayan administration. Critics argue that the composition of the board may have contributed to the lapse.
The episode has intensified calls for greater transparency and independent oversight of Kerala's public service recruitment processes.
