Kerala Proposes ₹5 Billion for Eco‑Tourism, Including Tiger Museum Revival

The government will submit a proposal to the centre requesting a total of ₹50 crore for eco‑tourism in Kumili, of which ₹20 crore is earmarked to restart the tiger museum project. The design of these schemes aims to ensure that a larger share of tourism revenue reaches tribal families, while also creating permanent jobs for local youth as guides and wardens.
