AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal addressed the media on Saturday, laying out a three‑point demand sheet aimed at rectifying the fallout from the E‑20 blend. He called for the simultaneous availability of E‑20 and pure petrol at every dispensing point, a price differential that makes pure petrol cheaper than the blended variant, and a ceiling price of less than ₹84 per litre for pure petrol.
Kejriwal emphasized that the petition against the blend has already amassed more than 200,000 signatures, reflecting the depth of public anger. He announced that a delegation would present the petition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 4 August at noon, seeking a direct hearing on the issue.
