Arvind Kejriwal Calls for Answers from Auto Makers on E‑20 Safety

In a recent press briefing, Kejriwal said he had written to all 29 automobile manufacturers seeking a clear response on whether E‑20 petrol is truly safe for legacy vehicles. He questioned who would be liable for any damage caused by the fuel and what compensation mechanisms would be in place for affected owners. According to AAP, none of the manufacturers have provided a written reply, though nine admitted verbally that E‑20 may not suit all older models.
