Kashyap accuses Akhilesh Yadav of ‘politics of appeasement’, backs RSS leader’s love message

Narendra Kashyap labelled Akhilesh Yadav’s repeated questioning of the Saharanpur mosque demolition as a "politics of appeasement" aimed at consolidating vote banks. He warned that such rhetoric weakens democratic institutions.

The minister also praised RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s recent statement about spreading "pure, universal love" instead of hatred. Kashyap described the RSS as a patriotic organization working to project a positive image of India worldwide and to honour the nation’s cultural heritage.

Addressing concerns over alleged illegal madrasas in Uttarakhand, Kashyap endorsed the state government's crackdown on institutions that, in his view, divert children from education toward extremist ideologies. He stated that safeguarding the future of young learners is a governmental responsibility.
