Capitol minister Kapil Mishra linked to Tahir Hussain’s political rise, AAP alleges

According to AAP’s Delhi chief, Kapil Mishra played a pivotal role in advancing Tahir Hussain’s political career. Bharadwaj asserted that Mishra not only facilitated Hussain’s entry into the party but also secured him a councilor ticket for the municipal elections, despite resistance from local party leaders.

The AAP leader further claimed that ahead of the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, Hussain was fielded on an AIMIM ticket in the Mustafabad constituency to fragment anti‑BJP votes, a strategy that allegedly benefitted the ruling party. Bharadwaj added that Hussain received special treatment during the campaign and enjoyed a softer approach from the police administration.
