Yusuf Abbas Appeals for Responsible Conduct During Kanwar Yatra
Addressing the ongoing Kanwar pilgrimage, Maulana Yusuf Abbas appealed to residents of the route and the pilgrims alike to act responsibly. He asked local citizens to allow easy passage for devotees, emergency ambulances and other essential vehicles, and requested pilgrims to avoid any form of violence, vandalism or reckless behaviour.
Abbas described the Kanwar Yatra as a symbol of faith that must be protected from disruption. He stressed that the safety of pilgrims and the smooth flow of traffic are paramount, and that any misconduct should be dealt with under existing law.
He concluded by invoking the principle that religious freedom must coexist with public order, urging cooperation from both the administration and the public.
