Preparations for the 2026 Kanwar Yatra are entering a critical phase as police officials intensify their monitoring of camp sites and traffic plans. In the early hours of August 6, ACP‑1 Dịksha Singh, under the supervision of DCP Shailendra Kumar Singh, inspected the pilgrimage route and temporary shelters in the Face‑3 and Sector‑63 areas. The inspection checklist mirrored earlier reviews, covering security measures, barricade placement, traffic regulation, parking arrangements, lighting, sanitation, water supply and emergency medical support.
