Joint Forces Deploy R.A.D Patrols Along Amarnath Route This Year
A coalition of CISF units, state police, and paramilitary forces has launched Route Area Domination (RAD) patrols for the 2026 Amarnath Yatra. The strategy involves regular foot and vehicle patrols covering every segment of the mountainous trail.
Patrol teams are equipped with communication devices that link directly to a central operations hub, enabling real‑time tracking of movement and swift response to any threat. Sensitive zones such as river crossings, steep passes, and shelter areas have received additional reinforcement.
This joint effort reflects a proactive stance, aiming to neutralise risks before they materialise. The forces are also prepared to provide immediate assistance to pilgrims facing health or climatic challenges.
Authorities have called on devotees to respect the security protocol, stay within marked pathways, and cooperate with the personnel who are on ground to ensure a smooth and protected pilgrimage experience.
