In a move to ignite young minds on fiscal matters, Union Youth Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya announced the launch of ‘My Bharat Budget Quest 2026’. Starting February 3 on the My Bharat portal, this pan-India online contest will run until February 17 for registrations, blending quizzes and essays to decode the Union Budget 2026.
Participants dive into a quiz challenging their grasp of budget provisions, making complex finances relatable to daily realities. State-level toppers then tackle an essay round from February 17 to March 3, focusing on eight pivotal topics where they can share ideas and suggestions.
Evaluation wraps up by March 10, revealing merit lists and propelling winners toward an exclusive virtual interaction with PM Narendra Modi. Mandaviya emphasized the initiative’s roots in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, where youth inputs directly fed into Budget 2026-27. ‘We’re amplifying young voices to shape a developed India,’ he affirmed.
The quest’s crowning glory—a direct conversation with the Prime Minister—symbolizes the government’s commitment to inclusive growth. It positions youth as key stakeholders in economic planning, urging them to envision and influence national progress.
As India eyes Viksit Bharat by 2047, events like this cultivate informed citizens ready to drive change. Easy access via the My Bharat portal ensures broad participation, promising a surge in budget literacy among the youth.
