Job Opportunity at ESIC Delhi: Walk-in Interview on 3 November
Doctors and medical graduates searching for a stable job in Delhi now have a promising option. ESIC Delhi has opened recruitment for 40 posts through an official notification, with walk-in interviews scheduled for November 3.
The recruitment covers 19 Senior Resident posts, 13 Contractual Specialist posts and 8 Contractual Super Specialist posts.
In the Senior Resident category, the largest number of openings is in Paediatrics with NICU, which has 5 posts. Surgery has 4 posts, Anaesthesiology with ICU has 2, Radiology has 2 and Dermatology, Gynaecology, Pathology, Psychiatry, Medical Oncology and Nephrology have 1 post each.
In the Contractual Specialist category, Radiology has 3 posts, Medicine has 2 and Accident and Emergency has 2. Anaesthesia with ICU, Bio-chemistry, Chest, Dental (Endodontist), Eye and Gynaecology have one post each.
The Contractual Super Specialist category includes one post each in Cardiology, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Urology and Rheumatology.
The selection process will consist of a walk-in interview and document verification. Salaries will vary by post. Senior Residents will receive between 67,700 and 1,50,294 rupees. Contractual Specialists will receive between 1,50,294 rupees for junior specialists and 1,74,936 rupees for senior specialists. Contractual Super Specialists will receive between 2,00,000 rupees at entry level and 2,40,000 rupees at consultant-senior level.
Senior Resident applicants must hold a postgraduate degree or diploma in the relevant specialty from a recognised institution or university and be registered with the Delhi Medical Council or the Medical Council of India.
Contractual Specialists need an MBBS with a postgraduate degree or diploma in the relevant specialty. Those with a postgraduate degree need three years of experience, and those with a postgraduate diploma need five years. Registration with the Delhi Medical Council or the Medical Council of India is required. For the dental post, an MDS with endodontics specialisation, three years of experience after the postgraduate degree and registration with the Delhi Dental Council or the National Dental Commission are needed.
Contractual Super Specialists must have an MBBS, an MD, MS or DNB, and a DM, DNB or MCh in the relevant super specialty. Registration with the Delhi Medical Council or the Medical Council of India is necessary. Entry-level candidates need three years of experience after the postgraduate degree or five years after the postgraduate diploma in the super specialty. Senior-level candidates need five years of experience after the postgraduate degree in the super specialty.
The maximum age is 45 years for Senior Residents and 69 years for Contractual Specialists and Contractual Super Specialists. Age will be calculated as on November 3, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories applying for Senior Resident posts will receive age relaxation as per the rules.
The walk-in interviews will be held at ESIC Hospital, Shri Anandmayi Marg, Phase 1, Okhla, New Delhi, 110020. Candidates must report between 9 AM and 11 AM. They should carry a hard copy of the filled application form along with original documents and photocopies.

Candidates must pay the application fee at the time of registration on the interview day. The fee is 500 rupees for SC, ST and EWS candidates. SC, ST and PH candidates and women are exempted from the fee.
The appointment will initially be for one year. It can be extended one year at a time for up to three years, based on annual evaluation and satisfactory performance.
