Jitendra Mishra Arrives in Ayodhya, Starts Pilgrim Services Management for Ram Temple

Ayodhya saw the arrival of retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra, the newly appointed CEO of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, on September 8. The former commander of the Western Air Command, who led Operation Sindoor, first paid homage at the Ram Lalla shrine before moving to the trust’s administrative block. There, he began a series of coordination meetings with officials responsible for pilgrim facilities, sanitation, and crowd control. Mishra will reside in a trust‑provided apartment near the temple, ensuring continuous monitoring of visitor services, financial audits, and inter‑departmental communication as the site experiences a surge in worshippers.
